in Need of Help?AMHH offers FREE services to support single parents in the SWFL area. Become a member of AMHH today, at no cost, and quickly connect with other single moms and participate in programs that can help with:

Who is Eligible?To qualify for our program you must meet the following:

1. Be a single parent.
2. Be a resident of Lee or surrounding counties.
3. Attend at least two meetings or training classes each quarter
4. Volunteer at least three hours each quarter
5. Have at least one child under the age of 18. Single parents with kids over the age of 18 may still qualify if their son/daughter is enrolled in college. In which case, parent is eligible until child turns 21.

Case Management
One-on-one case management is provided to all single parents to help determine your needs and assist in providing community
resources, workshops, classes and other helpful information especially
tailored to you.  Simply attend a support group meeting to schedule your appointment.

Support Group
A support group for AMHH members that allows single parents to connect, share resources, and encourage friendships.

Single moms looking for hope and support this is a safe place for you! Vent, get suggestions, resources and a shoulder to cry on when you need it.

Share your frustrations, joys and those you "just had to be there" stories for a chuckle to relieve the stress with one another! The struggle is real but so is the support you are not alone!​

These meetings are held the 1st Tuesday and 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church - Cape Coral which is located at 706 SW 6th Ave

Budgeting Program
Join us for our Budgeting Program for Single Moms.  Learn how to Budget by Paycheck and stop living paycheck to paycheck.

This weekly virtual meeting.  We'll begin with the basics of how the program works and have a different savings challenge each month.

Signup for an accountability partner.  

Budgeting Workbook/Planner is needed for the course.  Planner will be used each month.  Once registration is received, we will send info how to obtain the workbook.
Workbook/Planner $45 -May be eligible for sponsorship.

SWFL Santa's
Every year, many AMHH families are selected by community members, 
businesses and other organizations to receive donated holiday
gifts for the entire family to help celebrate the holiday season.
Bare Necessities
Once a month, AMHH opens its doors to members to pick up toiletry items needed for their home.  This enables them to stretch their budgets a little farther.
Back-to-School
This program helps AMHH families by providing kids with back-to-school necessities such as back-packs and school supplies! School Supplies are also offered throughout the year as needed.
Birthday Boxes
Our Birthday Boxes Program is designed to help the moms in our program by providing the essentials needed for a birthday party, including a gift. No child should go without a birthday party due to lack of extra money.

How to Join

Schedule your 15-minute online orientation.
This will cover your one-on-one case management intake meeting.  You are welcome to attend one of our meetings that are held twice a month.  The 1st Tuesday and 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m.  Meetings are located at Trinity Lutheran Church which is located at 706 SW 6th Ave.  Our meetings are held in the Preschool building.
