Biography: I am a single parent to a special needs child with severe mental illness. I attend college part time in hopes to one day pursue a degree in mental health. I have raised my daughter by myself for the past thirteen years alone without the help of her father. I placed my daughter in a residential facility when she was eight due to not being able to hold staff in home for her due to her needs. It turned out to be the worst experience ever in which I brought her home when I did not anticipate and resigned from my job in order to take care of her full time. I was affected by hurricane Ian in which my home is still not fixed fully until this day. We appreciate all help we can receive.
