Biography:
This Christmas is a little different for us. It's our first one as a single-parent family, and it's been a pretty big adjustment for everyone. Things have been tough lately – after almost 20 years of marriage, I left my husband a few months back. It wasn't an easy decision; I'd tried to leave before, but things always seemed to improve just enough to keep me from going through with it.
In this new life, we're working super hard to get our own place or move back into our home after it’s fixed enough that it’s livable again – we’re saving every penny! In the meantime, we're incredibly lucky to have the most amazing friends who've opened their home to us. We're so grateful for their support during this transition. We're focusing on making the best of it and building a happy future together. Most importantly, I really want to make this Christmas magical for for my kids. Any help you can offer would mean the world to us! Thanks so much for considering us.
